University Scholarship
I come from a remote rural community with limited healthcare access. No one in my family had worked in healthcare, which inspired me to study nursing and give back to the community that raised me.
I chose nursing to improve my family's quality of life and expand healthcare access in remote areas. I gained hands-on experience with patient care, wound care, medication administration, and managing serious conditions.
I have no formal work experience, but gained practical skills through nursing clinical training. During school breaks, I help my family with farm work — harvesting chili peppers and rice — building responsibility and work ethic.
My mother is a village health volunteer and I join her on home visits to elderly and bedridden patients. I assist with basic care and health advice, deepening my understanding of rural health challenges.
My goal is to become a competent, compassionate nurse. After graduation, I plan to return to my hometown to serve people in remote areas with limited healthcare access and help improve the local healthcare system.
