Chairman/Founder
Tom Jones is the Founder and Chairman of Wolverines Academy. Before founding the organization, Tom built and scaled Iridium Technology, a legal analytics firm serving half of the Am Law 200, from a one-person operation to over 100 employees before its acquisition in 2022. His entrepreneurial experience and close ties to Thailand, Mexico, and Lebanon shaped his conviction that disciplined, direct investment in people produces compounding returns.

Founder, Director – Thailand Operations
Lek Jones is Co-Founder and Director of Thailand Operations for Wolverines Academy. Born and raised in Thailand, she experienced firsthand the financial pressures facing students and families while earning her own university degree. After moving to the United States 14 years ago, she has maintained close ties across Thailand and now applies that lived experience and trusted network to identify the right scholars and ensure support reaches those who need it most.

Alex Jones is a Computer Scientist and software engineer with a degree from the University of Michigan and a track record of building complex, high-performance applications across financial analytics, legal technology, and research. His career has spanned full-stack development, database architecture, and agile team leadership — most recently as a developer at BigHand, and previously as Lead Developer at EV Engine, where he designed and built a financial analytics platform from the ground up.

Cynthia Samaha is a finance professional with experience in financial reporting, strategic planning, and operational management across international organizations. At Wolverines Academy, Cynthia supports the organization's financial oversight and Lebanon operations while contributing her expertise in program evaluation and impact measurement.

Evan Bowen serves as Director of IT for Wolverines Academy. With experience working on technical projects across North America and two stints living in Southeast Asia, Evan brings valuable perspective to the board.
