I grew up in a mountain village where few children made it to university. I want to prove that a girl from a poor, remote background can succeed — and repay every person who believed in and supported me.
I am the first in my family to enter university. Coming from a community where education is not always valued, I've had to fight for this opportunity and I intend to make the most of every day of it.
I worked in a restaurant during school breaks to help support my family and save for my education. This taught me hard work, discipline, and the value of earning my own way.
In my village, many families lack the financial resources or encouragement to send their children to school. I hope my journey inspires other families to invest in their children's education.
I want to build a stable career that gives my family financial security and removes the burden of poverty. My dream is for my parents to never have to struggle again.
